While most everyone understands what cavities are, and know how they are treated with fillings, people tend to know less about root canal infections and their related treatment. Of course, far more people have had a cavity filled than have had root canal therapy. While more than 170 million cavities are filled in the U.S. every year, dentists only perform about 15 million root canal procedures per year.

Many dental professionals offer “same day” dental bridge work, in which teeth removal, dental implant placement and the fitting of a temporary bridge all happens in the same day. But is this speed worth it, or could this be a case of “haste makes waste?”

If you or a loved one are suffering from missing or failing teeth, Island Tower Dentistry is now offering one of the most advanced dental implant prosthetics available in America today. As a member of the Teeth Tomorrow® Network, our Marco Island practice is the exclusive South Florida provider of Teeth Tomorrow’s® Prettau® Zirconia full-arch bridge, which is rapidly proving to be among the most revolutionary advancement in the field of dental implants.
